Summer Traffic Regulation

From 1 July 2026, the summer traffic regulation will come into force in the City of Salzburg. It includes traffic restrictions in the city centre zone, meaning that the Old Town is only accessible by car in exceptional cases.

Our tip: use the Guest Mobility Ticket and travel to the Mozart City by public transport. Alternatively, park-and-ride facilities are available on the outskirts of the city.
