To ensure you always find perfect slopes in the morning, the ‘heroes of the night’ are out and about in their snow groomers from the early evening onwards. We ask you to strictly observe the current slope closures:
In accordance with Section 30 of the Salzburg Provincial Safety Act, all slopes in St. Johann’s Snow Space Salzburg ski area are closed between 5.00 pm and 8.30 am. This means that skiing on or entering the slopes is prohibited during this time! Any breaches of this rule release the lift operator from all liability.

An exception is the run down from the Gernkogelalm into the valley. Here, the slope closure applies from 7.00 pm to 8.30 am.
