St. Johann kids' week in summer

The JoKiWo from 09th July to 14th July 2023

From 09th July to 14th July 2023, everything in St. Johann revolves around the smallest guests. This year, for the fifth edition of the JoKiWo, a week filled with an extensive (active) programme, adventures, great activities and many highlights awaits the little adventurers. A great, varied week for the whole family.

Carnival of the Animals - Sunday, 09th July

Children's concert by the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Sunday 09th July at 11.00 am in JOcongress.
The performance of Canrival of the Animals allows children to experience the magic of classical music in a playful way.

Tickets are available in advance at the Tourist Office. Tickets on the door are available subject to capacity.

Ghost Mountain Day - Tuesday, 11th July

An exciting day on the Ghost Mountain, on Tuesday 11th July at 11.00 am in Alpendorf.

During the adventurous day on the Ghost Mountain, the little climbers can gain their first experience on the rock during a guided tour on the Drachis via ferrata.

When booking using the form of the following LINK, children (2007-2011) receive free ascent and descent with the Alpendorf Cable Car.

Punch & Judy show - Thursday, 13th July

On Thursday, 13th July at 05.00 pm, Kasperl and his friends invite you to the puppet theatre in the city park.

Here, the little ones will experience a play that has almost become a rarity in times of mobile phones and tablets - a puppet show with Punch and his friends.

Shopping day for families - Friday, 14th July

Friday, 14th July in St. Johann

There will be great activities for the whole family, a children's programme with a bouncy castle, face painting and much more.

Information about JoKiWo

The St. Johann Kid's Week has been designed for locals and guests. Registrations for the individual programme items are accepted by the St. Johann in Salzburg Tourist Association or your host. The programme items are free of charge, except for the children's concert by the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
