NEW: “Drachi’s” via ferrata for children

A special highlight on Geisterberg (Ghost Mountain) is the new “Drachi’s” fixed rope climbing route. Kids who are climbing enthusiasts from the age of 8 years on will have their fun on the rocks here and immerse themselves in an alpine mountain adventure. Together with their parents, the children climb a 40-meter high rock face and thus get their first experience of a via ferrata.

A steel rope is attached over the entire length of about 100 meters of the via ferrata, in place for securing climbers with carabiners. Specifically mounted iron rungs and ladders make climbing easier and can be mastered by children as of age 8 years.

Special equipment is necessary when using the via ferrata. It can be hired from the following sports shops in St. Johann by appointment.
